Ingredient Details...

Organic, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil has so many benefits for your skin I could go on for hours, but I’ll narrow them down to a few key benefits.
It has been used in the Asian Pacific Region for hundreds of years, being applied to the skin to prevent aging, and to keep the skin moisturized. Coconut oil has healing properties that have been used for many skin conditions, including psoriasis. Coconut oil has antioxidants used to fight free radicals that cause premature aging. I love the scent of coconut, and knowing of it’s amazing health benefits, it’s really one of my favorites of all the oils, and one I use in almost everything I make.

Organic, Sesame Seed Oil:

Sesame seed oil has been used to treat many skin ailments such as bacterial infections. Those using sesame seed oil on there skin have reported that it helps with joint problems as well. Sesame seed oil is also used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Grape Seed Oil:
Grape seed oil is very popular in aromatherapy as an essential oil, even though it is odorless. It is primarily used as a carrier for the more potent aromatic essential oils that cannot be applied to the skin directly. This oil facilitates the entry of essential oils into the skin, and also improves the skin tone and texture because of it's slightly astringent properties. This oil will not clog pores so it is a popular oil in facial products, especially for those with acne prone skin because it is rich in vitamins, protein and minerals. Grape seed oil is also has excellent emollient properties, it makes the skin feel more supple and smooth because it locks in the moisture.

Olive Oil:
Olive oil is an ancient secret used during biblical times to smooth skin and retain ones youthful glow. Olive oil is a main ingredient in most of my products because of it's antioxidant capabilities that aid in the rejuvenation of skin cells eliminating the free radicals that cause premature aging. It does not leave your skin feeling greasy, just hydrated and oh so smooth.

Honey:
Honey is a wonderful ingredient in use of skin care.
In ancient times Honey was used to make facial masks because it has an immediate moisturizing and soothing effect on dry skin, and could reduce minor inflammations and itches. Honey assist in wound healing, and restores the skins natural moisture. Honey has been used historically as an anti-bacterial agent, purifying agent, preservative, and has been linked to catching free radicals that cause premature signs of aging like sun spots and wrinkles.

Apricot Kernel Oil:

Apricot kernel oil is very high in Vitamin A and is very easily penetrated into the skin, helping the skin retain elasticity, clarity, and suppleness. This makes it a superb oil for skin care products, especially for those with severely dry or irritated skin.

Vitamin E Oil:
Vitamin E is well know for it's antioxidant capabilities. Antioxidants protect cell structures by neutralizing free radicals that cause premature aging. Vitamin E is also used as a natural preservative in my skin care line. I use Vitamin E oil in all of my products.

Sugar:
Sugar is a natural way to give your skin a healthy glow and is sensitive enough to use on your face and neck to remove the dull dead skin cells and in turn make the skin look and feel younger. Our skin looses it's elasticity and youthful look as years go by and polution tends to make the skin dry and grime tends to accumulate into the pores of the skin. Sugar is recommended for all skin types to remove the grime and is especially beneficial for those with dry skin. Sugar has healing properties that when mixed with essential oils leave your skin looking and feeling younger.

Salt:
Salt is most beneficial at removing dull dead skin cells and toxins. It is a fabulous exfoliator as it encourages the skin to secrete sebum(natural skin oils) and it thoroughly cleans  pores allowing the skin to breathe easier. It can be used on all parts of the body except face and neck. A good salt scrub will strengthen and firm skin tissue and leave the skin soft and gleaming.

Vegetable Glycerin
:
This is a water soluble and hypoallergenic natural product safe to use in cosmetics and is also edible. Vegetable Glycerin helps to retain moisture and leaves your skin healthy and glowing. It is used in cosmetics to for it's Anti-Aging properties and the result is soft smooth radiant skin that looks and feels younger. This is safe to use on all skin types.

About me...

Dear Friends,

My name is Mandy R. Keilwitz, and I am an overworked, underpaid, stay-at-home mother of eight who loves God.  My husband is incredible and is truly my best friend and my children are my life. I decided one day to leave the business world behind to stay home with my children. I am grateful everyday for all of the wonderful blessings that have been bestowed on me and my family.

I made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom about 4 years ago, selling my Adult Family Home business, to be more active in my children’s lives, and to become more involved in my Church. The best decision I ever made, hands down! My husband and I have 4 kids in high school, 2 in junior high, and 2 in elementary. God has blessed us with eight, beautiful, somewhat well-behaved (at times) children that never stop eating! : )

We have the not so usual pets…. 2 dogs named AJ and Shelby, 2 - 15 year old cats named Mordrid and Ambrosia, an indoor miniature potbelly pig named Hamlet.  We also have many chickens some with names the kids gave, I don’t remember though, and 4 Angora rabbits named Sebastian, Stubbitha (don’t ask) :), Thumper and Duchess (not for consumption - just to clarify) These are fiber rabbits, I shear them every 3-4 months to make yarn. This is part of the natural grooming process for those that don’t know about Angoras.

We recently added 2 dairy goats named Vanity and Vieanna to our family because one of our daughters is allergic to cows milk, and the rest of us want to become healthier by not drinking milk that has added hormones and antibiotics in it, not to mention the harmful chemicals that seep into it from the plastic milk jug. Goat milk is so good for you, plus we love animals... so what better way to accomplish our goal.... get a dairy goat! :)  I milk 2 X per day. I figure we are definitely not the norm...

I get my nails done every 2 weeks, am very particular about my hair, and makeup! Nobody would ever believe just by looking at me when I'm in town or at the school (I'm a PTA member), that I would be the type to go home, put on my old jeans, rubber boots and a rain jacket to go out and care for the farm animals. Then  go in and play with my piggy... :)

We grow most of our own vegetables, and fruit. My husband has been gardening his whole life, and just last year he built me a greenhouse so I could try my hand at gardening too. I started out with the usual vegetable plants late in the winter, then onto flowers, and realized I might be pretty good at this gardening thing after all. I then decided to start growing Goji Berries, as I had heard so much about them and the health benefits. We now have eight Goji berry plants on our property as well as raspberries, blueberries, grapes, thornless blackberries, a pear tree, peach tree, fig tree, cherry tree, filbert tree, and walnut tree. I think I got them all…

Anyway, I have become increasingly more health conscious, as my sisters have been sending these horrible emails about what is in our food and beauty products over the last couple of years. I decided recently to try my hand at making natural bath products, as I am all for the luxury bath. I have been very impressed with the results I have been getting from my own natural scrubs and lotions, and have decided to share these incredible discoveries with you, and your family. Soon I will be adding Goat Milk soaps and lotions.

I have no doubt that you will love them as much as my family and I do.

I have added many recipes for you to try, all of which I make for my own family.
